I planted with Omnistar last spring. I had problems with trees. especially one quarter that has 80' tall cottonwood trees on the south end. I ended up planting east-west manually until I could get far enough away from the trees for it not to bother it. It ended up about 2-3 acres I had to do that way, the rest of the field I planted a different direction because of the lay of the land. It made it impossible to get a true acreage count with the EZ500. On the plus side, I had a 15' no till drill and I was able to have an inexperienced hired man pull it for a week drilling soybeans into tall standing milo stalks and that would have been impossible without it. The hired man thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
