Hampton, Iowa | My father in law is looking to upgrade. I tried to get him to buy John Deere but we both decided that if he has some things now why buy all new. The only reason I tried to push Greenstar is because I know how to run that stuff. So, he has an EZ guide plus and is looking to someday get into an auto steer unit. I have seen many Insight screens for sale on here is that all he would need for now? Without getting auto steer quite yet what would just an insight screen do for him? Would it take the place of the EZ guide and his yield monitor? Or does he need to keep one or both? Does he need to buy any activations? Does he need a new globe/receiver or will the one that he has work? Would it be smart to just find everything he needs to pull off the auto steer right away? Is agleader software expensive? I already have apex so is that enough of a reason to keep pushing the John Deere greenstar on him? All the info I can get would be great. Thanks in advance | |
