That almost looks like a heavier version of the new Quicke maxi-grapples.

How much is that worth? Would like to get one for our Cat, been thinking about building our own but... you know how it is.

Grabtec is a separate company. Grabtec designed and sells the new grapple. Miller doesn't even fabricate any of the parts - they just do the welding and painting. Then they ship them (or install them). Grabtec specializes in wheel loader grapples. Miller specializes in farm loaders and they didn't want to bother developing or selling a new wheel loader grapple- that's why they don't sell their wheel loader grapple anymore.

Call Farm Power Manufacturing in Aberdeen, 605-229-0120, they make the strongest grapple and the price isn't out of line either, ask for Brian, He builds a lot of grapples for all makes.

That photo is Grabtec's "little" GC grapple, which still has more clamping power than other grapples out there. The right grapple for a WA250 is their larger 'GA' model. I think the Grabtec web site has some video of a GA90 grapple on a WA200 picking up some trees and also hay bales. There's also video of a Deere 544 picking up a car with a GA90

Big fan of our Miller grapple, but it's not a quick-tach. Main reason we like it is because it handles ground hay so well. We're wanting to trade into something that is a quick-tach but don't think the Grab-tec will handle dry ground hay as well. Got any videos to prove it?

I think I know what you mean with ground hay. However the Grabtec handles it surprisingly well. I think its because it opens up so far and has a good 'shape' to grab and fill the bucket with loose material. It will essentially double the capacity of the bucket. I don't have a video, but I have some good pics of it handling loose material. I can email you pics if you'd like.

Have not got one yet, still working on a new loader first.

no quick tach is the problem with the Miller and like Chad said the Grabtec looks not as good for ground hay/straw.

No picking up cars here so not sure thats a selling point!
