I got the picture from Fonda Barrs pulling board, and thought some here might find it interesting because it's so unusual.

It's a real NTPA puller built by Lance Little .....he's built many big block 5010-6030 Deeres on the NTPA/PPL circuit.... and they all run good.

The new rules allow a much broader use of the sheet metal that is put on the tractor. Instead of a 5010/6030 shell he used this.

Got to see it up close and personal Friday night. Really a sharp looking unit, right down to the original steering column, and that's coming from an IH guy. I like the retro look tractors , like this one and Esdon Lehn's 460, better than the newer ones.

Mark, would that be Lance Little's new tractor, or one that he built for someone else?

Wonderful looking tractor. I have been trying for years to let our prostocks in Central Ontario allow the use of back dated sheetmetal. I think that it adds more variety to the shows.

Wayne last I heard was that Little's were $300,000+ turn key, and they help you the first year with it.

I don't like it but I never did like the look of most Deere pulling tractors. For one thing the 830 was a heavy fronted 2 lunger and 6 cylinders doesn't look right under the hood. Esdon's 460 looks more like the original and they both had 6 cylinders.

I guess it is just a matter of taste.
