Southwest TN

I have always wanted a red Tiger. Too scared to buy this one cuz its way far from TN. There are very few of these in the U.S..Most of the red ones went to AUS. Anyone know where's there another like it?  Also love the STX leather seat. I could really Pi$$ some people off around here moving that beast up and down the road!! STX535 and JD9630 owners might want to pick up a few more cubic inches before bringing their dog to this fight! Oh well guess i'll have to keep the 8400 and 8430 till I get one.

I have no beef with CIH, but red on that tractor just ain't right. It'd look cool with 3 17Cs behind it. Thanks for the pic. Tom

Cool, but it has been repainted. So, is it a true red one, or a green one painted up red?

I was under the impression that if the interior was grey, it was supposed to be a red one and if the interior was that beiger color, it was originally a green one that had been painted red at the factory. Could be wrong.

Some where in my files I still have a 1987 CIH 4x4 brochure. I am a old case guy to the core but why anybody would have bought a 4690 when they could of had a 9130 I'll never know. But I remember reading on the 9190 part. You had to lay down like 30% in cash before case would build you one. So I assume that is some of the reason why they did'nt sell too many.

If I remember correctly the 9190 only had a straight gear tranny and the KP525 only had a powershift with a 4speed splitter box.

Not 24spd PS.  It was an Allison and I think it was 6 speed.

Regardless, it's a pretty impressive remod. STX seat, PS tranny, HID lighting, very nice. Can't find any info on a KP525 tractor, having a hard time finding it anywhere, I'd be very interested in seeing some pics/info of one if anyone has any. Whoever did the work wasn't afraid of restoring it to original!
