heres mine

mount your draw bar on the 4wheeler so its slightly higher than most of your hitches so when pulling it puts a slight weight on 4 wheeler front tires instead of trying to lift tires it will pull alot straighter

I pull mine all the time. I mounted a hitch receiver under the front rack that mine hooks into and allows it to be removed with 1 pin when not needed. It also works great to be able to hook rack wagons to the front hitch to back them in the shed.

Yea, but not everyone has access to a dozer frame attachment on thier tractors so that is a major downpoint.

Camera took a dump so until I get a new one, won't be any pics for awhile. Did get it done minus paint. Seems like its going to work. Passed the "bump and bounce" test after all the welding and fabricating was done.

I pull a Gator XUV around all the time. My hitch is practically identical to Toolman's. Made out of 2" tubing to go in front receiver and will pin up vertical or can easily pull out of receiver.

I've had trouble with my atv not trailing well when pulled down the road. The front tires almost always skid sideways even when making a longer radius turn. The steering linkage is so tight since atv is practically new. It's a smaller light-weight atv so that might be part of the problem.

Did any of you guys have to loosen the steering pivot points a bit to make your atv trail well? It seems silly to have to loosen up the steering, but I don't know how else to get mine to trail better without doing that or adding a lot of weight to the front. There is not a good place on my atv frame to raise the towbar to be above the towing vehicle's hitch point.

Thanks.

don't know how to post pics. Mine are almost identical to Gambler's. I made the tongue so they telescope so you don't have to look at them when in the "up" position, and I put some foam pipe insulation on the rack where the tongue pins up for storage so they fit tight and don't rattle. I also engineered a "bumper" made out of 1.25 inch tubing at the bottom.

I have hitches (to pull the ATV) on my planters, sprayer, water truck, grain cart, and of course can pull with pickups. Pull it daily all season long. Will kinda slide around tight turns in the yard, but "steers" fine following down the road. WONDERFUL ITEM! One on a Honda rancher, other on a Honda Foreman.

Took most of a winter day to engineer and build.

It is easier to load it on a tilt trailer and one strap to hold down. Then can go any distance and any speed. Mine can't be pulled do to transmission.

keegan tow bar works on kawasaki and not at all on honda 300. Skids and won't steer. Hitch is higher on honda than pickup pulling.

Here is the one we have, Polaris used to sell them, but not anymore, too practical I guess.  I've copied and made a couple for other people.  Nice, simple and unobtrusive.

I've got one just about like that. I got it from Gemplers, it was made by Automatic Equipment. I use it on a Arctic Cat 454.
