Was told today by John Deere tech to run the new row max chopping rolls from Deere they recommend it only if you have the 5 Speed Feederhouse drive and not the variable speed belt drive. This is on a 12 row head and s670. We tried two rows of the row max this past fall and were impressed enough we want to change them all but also don't want feederhouse drive issues. Thanks for any experiences anyone can share.
