East Central Indiana | Looking at going to one if these machines for a second unit. Like the idea of the bulk fill and simplicity. Dont know much about them. I dont see much of a difference between a 1690 and a 1990 other than the lid on the hopper and maybe a few differences with the row units. The question I have for guys that have them is how well do they meter population? If you set the monitor for 140k, what can you expect to see?
Also, why would you lean one way or the other on either machine? Durability, monitor, etc.? We would be running it behind an 8950 magnum.
