| I am going to get about 10 angus cows here pretty soon. I have taken care and worked with my grandpa and step dad for about 10 years with their cattle. They have always kept the bull with the cows year round. I was just wondering what everybody else does? If you guys keep the bull with the cows for a month or so, then how long after the cows calve do you put the bull back. Do you like for them to calve a certain time of year? Just wondering how all of you guys did this. Like I said, I am just used to the bull being with the cows year round. What advantages are there? Thanks a lot | |
