Sold a piece of equipment and got a W9 form from the seller? Not my purpose to hide the income but never seen this done? This is a larger size business that is going to use it buying from farm use. Any reason I have to comply with the request legally? Always done business with a receipt for anything in or out? I DON'T want my SS# anywhere more than it already is.>>>>POINT
