Subject: Fact or Fiction?? Semi Question

Swift Current, Sask
Is there any truth that trucks are insulated differently? (ie. trucks destined for the more northern states and Canada have more insulation than ones destined for warmer climates) Dad had seen a show on the Discovery channel (I believe) a while back, where they were touring a Peterbilt factory, when they talked to one of the workers on the assembly line, and the worker said that different trucks are more/less insulated depending on where they are going. I find it hard to believe. Is it truth, or something someone made up?

Reason I ask is because we are looking for a daycab semi, and it seems like the only ones we can find with the specs we are looking for are in California or Arizona.

Thanks

Jerrod
