Swift Current, Sask | Is there any truth that trucks are insulated differently? (ie. trucks destined for the more northern states and Canada have more insulation than ones destined for warmer climates) Dad had seen a show on the Discovery channel (I believe) a while back, where they were touring a Peterbilt factory, when they talked to one of the workers on the assembly line, and the worker said that different trucks are more/less insulated depending on where they are going. I find it hard to believe. Is it truth, or something someone made up?
Reason I ask is because we are looking for a daycab semi, and it seems like the only ones we can find with the specs we are looking for are in California or Arizona.
Thanks
