West Central Iowa | My 7 year old grandson has his heart set on getting a 9240 Case-IH combine on tracks for Christmas. Grandma says it is my fault for letting him watch video's on YouTube, one of which was a combine like this driving through water (farmer Tony maybe??). :) Anyway, this website says it is not a child's toy, but this is the one he wants and I have not been able to find a suitable substitute. He lives in the Twin Cities but he is my farming buddy and loves all things related to farming and I would really hate to see him disappointed on Christmas day.

I guess my question is other then the wisdom of spending this much on a child's toy, are there any other reasons (safety or durablilty??) this would not be a good idea? He takes pretty good care of his other toys but he does have 2 sisters, one younger and one older and a 6 month old brother at home. I doubt we will able to convince him it should be left in the box or at least up on a shelf.
