The other day I pulled up to the Gasoline Station to refuel.  I noted that Ethanol futures were trading under $1.30.. They closed yesterday on the LOW at $1.25.  Meanwhile Gasoline at only 10% ethanol blend was more than DOUBLE over $2.60..

"Say what?"

$1.25 Ethanol vs $2.65 gasoline..

I mumbled something like "this sucks" as I lifted the handle.

Now I see that the government.. which can't figure out how to issue a waiver to allow HIGHER and CHEAPER Blends of ethanol.. (but CAN issue waivers for Refineries backwards the previous couple years to exclude the RFS Requirements.. which some say is not even LEGAL..)  Wants to send me a $.01 for "market disruptions due to Trade negotiations."

"AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!"

Keep the penny and FIX the higher rate of Ethanol blend.. Heck we got a Crop (and an election) coming up which is going to be HUGE!!

Give us the ability to have year round e-15 NOW!!

Sheesh.

Import Expensive Crude Oil OR make Domestic Fuels from Domestic Sources..  Which one is gonna make America Great Again?
