Looking at getting a pot load of Holstein steers.. Last time we fed out steers was about a decade ago we used self feeders with cracked corn and protein pellets and fed corn stalks. Not sure if this would still be a decent or reasonably efficient way or if other ingredients like mineral or a liquid protein could be mixed in. We would be cracking corn and mixing with a grinder mixer, do not want to get a feed wagon
