I've been looking on the net and it appears that the Ruger 10/22 magazine will fit in the T/CR22 but you lose the hold open on last shot feature.  That made me curious if you could use the T/CR22 magazine in the Ruger 10/22 and have the hold open on last shot feature.   
I don't like dry firing a .22 and we often don't count shots and end up dry firing the 10/22.  I have no desire to spend several hundred dollars for a different receiver that will give me that feature.  It would be cheaper to just replace the barrel and firing pin if they get damaged over time.
