west central ohio | I work for my local township and we try to repair 20-50 head stones per year. Finished resetting this group today and they were the early 1900's. They we're sitting on a foundation of rocks gathered up from the fields I assume.
We dig them 36"-40" deep then form them with 2x8s and call the ready mix truck.
While working on these I get to thinking what it must have been back then and how hard these people worked just to survive!! Especially like how the military markers look when all done and hopefully preserved for another 100 years.
