solution. Sixteen months ago we completed our new layer barn. The fans we installed were fourteen large fans, six 24 inch fans, and sixteen small stir fans. The 24 and stir fans all use the same motor. To date, we have replaced the motors on 10 of the 22 small fans. They have a one year warranty so the first eight were covered by the manufacturer. I had my electrical checked out by the installer and they said the voltage is correct and that they had the same problems in another barn that they installed at the same time. They claim it is a bad batch of motors. What should I expect, I didn’t plan on buying a bad batch of fans. I am talking to them today and I am going to tell them that they have to give me a two year extension on the warranty for parts only. I think that is fair. In my other barn that is twenty years old. I am still on most of the original motors.
