Corn(28% complete) jumped up 6% this week and 19% behind the 5 year average, 16% behind last year.. meaningless if harvest picks up this week.
Soybeans(49% complete) jumped up 13% this week which is 11% behind 5 year average 10% behind last year... also meaningless if harvest picks up this week. Heard a few guys beans were suppose to be over 50%.
How long are guys sitting after the weekend rains? 5-8 inches in Northern Illinois(Chicago). Most rain I have seen over a 36 hour period this year and we were really wet this spring.
Preliminary corn and soy bids are showing steady overnight... maybe down slightly!
In case no one is tracking this..and since we are at the middle of the month already!

Corn - $3.49 3/4
Soybeans - $9.72 1/4
