Subject: would you chop corn silage for long term pile?

Have some really green corn and was wondering if I should chop it and store-it would be 3 years before I use it-my other option is earlage-or high moisture corn-which would also possible be at least 2 years before we feed it-or bite the bullet and dry it-
would have to be a drive over pile and tarped-we do have a good drainage hay field a 1/2 mile away
