Today's move left my 138 Aug option worth little under half of what it was worth just two weeks ago. Today's value is $1475. Original cost $3000. That's how they work. The option has not only face value, but also Time value and today it has 128 day's left until expiration. Will post a picture of the Aug Chart. The experts are now saying it will test the $150 level and at that time recommend taking a position to hedge fall sales. These are the same experts that said cattle would be dropping this time of the year.
