BC, Canada | A few weeks ago our loader tractor went down with a failed headgasket, 10 days ago the feeder tractor lost forward drive.....again. I was into it at about 4500 hrs, same problem. Now at 8300 hrs I'm back into the tranny. I figured I'd find the same failed forward piston as last time, but it still looks new. Finally found a crack in the forward clutch drum. New part is updated and has been beefed up in that area. Have the double backup feeder tractor running the mixer now, more hours than both 6420s together. When it rains it pours.
