| For those that buy calves to graze on grass I got questions.
When is the peak marketing time as it varies by region? For instance a lot of you down south probably do have or will have grazing available immediately or real soon while up north it's still almost 2 months away. So when is peak demand.
For those that buy these type of calves year after year, what weight range do you prefer?
And third, what kind of preconditioning program do you like to see? Do you want them weaned or long weaned and a good shot program? If preconditioned and backgrounded what would you prefer they been fed. I'm guessing the preference would be for them to be green. | |
