Subject: double crop oat pea silage

ontario

Does anyone double crop oats/peas for silage to get two crops in one year? Would this be a better option than corn silage considering a person would have to hire corn harvested but can harvest oats/peas as baleage with my own equipment? Would it be of similar value as corn silage? Feeding own calves to yearlings.
