Fayette Co, Iowa | I have steers that are near ready. My biggest (finished) steer is a March 13th, 2016 steer out of a P.B. Angus cow, & P.B. Simm bull. I call him freak of nature. He is solid from front to his rear. He was 98 pd calf unassisted and 1 year later across the coop scale weights 1,445 pds. Do I subtract the 98 pds from his total weight? 3.96 pds per day if not. I'm sure there are guys over 4 pds. But with 4 months of winter snow and cold I thought 3.96 wasn't to bad? | |
