West Central Illinois | I know this has been posted before but I am looking for fresh input on this please. I have a customer that is wanting to do a buyout option with his neighbor on his cow herd. Neighbor is a young man trying to get started. Simple works best for both parties. I assume an agreed upon purchase price with a crop share going to the land owner to pay down the purchase price with a 3 year final buyout balloon if needed? What happens with Cull Cow money? Feed? Pasture Rent? Building and facility usage? Customer is in a financial position to not need large return nor is looking to have a large return.
