dubuque, ia | Looking at automatic calf feeders and these caught my eye because they are so cheap. Has anyone been using one, and if so, how are you getting along? I gather that these machines are obviously built a little cheaper, and that the software they use isn't as inclusive as other setups, and thats why the price is cheaper. How many square feet per head do you have in the pen. Also, do you start the calves individually, or could a guy bring in 25 head and start them right on the machine? Thanks for any info, and I'm sure I'll come up with more questions about them in the future | |
