NW Illinois | Recently picked up a Farmhand 835 grinder mixer. Before we used it we replaced all the chains with new and the intake auger bearing was out so we replaced the bearing and built up the shaft where the bearing goes since the part is not available through Agco. The intake auger( that auger in the corn) free floats on the other end going into the mixer and it difficult getting auger centered on that end.
Also, while going through the mixer prior to use noticed the center tube inside the tank was wore through so we pulled it out and fixed it and put it back in. The auger that goes in that tube looked ok.
Yesterday I ground 2 ton of hog feed the mixer did well but when grinding the mixer shakes regardless if the hammers are engaged or not.
Question is has anyone had an issue similar to this or do you know anyone that I could talk to that is versed on this issue I would appreciate it! | |
