Subject: 10' bag on 9' bagger?

western Wisconsin

I started chopping my 1st crop hay 2 years ago. The first year I made a pile and couldn't keep a head of it so, this year I used the custom chopper guy's 10 bagger. Worked better still a few problems keeping up when it warms up. I was talking to the neighbor last night and he wants to buy a 9 bagger together. I still have part of a bag  left over from last year to fill this year. If we buy a 9' bagger would my 10' bag work on it to use it up? The bag is about 140' long I have left.
