Subject: Pyrac 2EC (Headline)

Edge of RRV MN
A little over a month ago there was discussion about when and if Pyrac 2EC will be available for this year. I contacted the company and received an email confirmation that both state and federal labels have been issued. Product supply should be available in early April.

For myself, I will be switching from branded to generic this season as to not only save money but no rebate games. When looking at Cercospera control in sugarbeets, the data shows that Priaxor (BASF premium product) is statistically no better on control. Headline was once a very effective product for cercospera control but due to its single site mode of action resistance has developed in many areas and a tankmix with another effective product on cercospera (Tin or Topsin) may be needed. I have heard that in some beet markets they are recommending not even using this mode of action for 2017.

I am just a user of products so I'm just passing on what I found out.
