Owensville, MO | After reading a thread about the end play on the front axle pivot pins of the boxcar magnums I was checking mine out today and found it to be more loose than I am comfortable with. So I pulled the rack of weights and weight bracket off, jacked up the front by the frame and pulled out the pivot pin. Well as luck would have it my pivot pin has pretty significant wear on it and I think it should be replaced. Has lost .070 on the diameter where the bushings ride. Not that big of a deal as I see this as part of owning and maintaining older, higher hour equipment but that pin is $640 from caseIh. WOW!!! Did a search on the part # and didn't come up with any aftermarket so wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper place to get one than the dealer??? Gonna call some salvage yards in the morning and see what I come up with there. Appreciate any leads. Part #1348230C1
