Central Ohio | Thinking about moving some corn because we have time and because basis is bid is good.
My question has to do with the carry. If a person wants to be in the game until may or june should you by the nearby and roll it as the months come together, or just bite the bullet and by the May or July and give away the carry?
Or is there another way?
To ask my question differently, do the deferred months usually trade down to the nearby, or does the nearby trade up to the deferred, or ??????
