I have a neighbor with a 2012 1770nt CCS 16row planter looking in to adding row clutches, Iv asked Deere they want a lot of $$ for there kit! The precision planting guy wants to spend huge amount of $$ for electric drive, a 20-20 and different meters, way out of the price range. But I see the pro shaft drives with the clutches for sale in the classifieds and on Craigslist. My question is what all would it take to get the wiring and computers to make it all work? He is running the planter with a 2630 Green star and it has the swath control unlock in it.
