Somewhereville, Earth | Hey there, I have a client wanting to see if we can get some yeild mapping going on farm. I am not a JD dealer but he has a 9550 with the orginal greenstar brown box in it, that at the moment he does spot yeild monitoring, the mass flow sensor and moisture meter is there and he is very happy with the accuracy.
is there any manuals out there that would tell me if i can put a antenna on the roof of some sort and feed NMEA into the display and what data cards i need etc. what baud, hz, etc. I have SRAM cards and readers for other applications so reading data off something not so common anymore is no hassle. Basically i can sell him a much much better set up, but its not the point of this excercise. there is no steering, its just building a map, so i can work with it
I do have access to a JD 6000 antenna, or i will use something else. | |
