Subject: Flushing a 4440 radiator

West Central, IA
The radiator on a recently acquired 4440 is plugged (inside). Can a guy put some C - L - R (calcium, lime, rust) in it and let it sit overnight and flush it the next day? Will that hurt the block? Can it be flushed out? I hate to tear it down this time of year if I could get the lime deposits out myself. Anybody know of anything good that works? Thanks
