Southern Illinois | Making summer sausage again this year but suppose to be cold this week. Sausage has cure and has been smoked. will it hurt it to freeze after smoking as it continues to hang and get hard? I had one person tell me it does not hurt it and another says don't let it freeze. Please help end this discussion. Usually hang it in unheated smoke house but could move it to shop or garage. Thanks | |
