Yesterday I noticed when I would clutch the tractor it felt like I was also applying the brake at the same time. This would be on ground that the tractor should continue to roll some. The first thing I had noticed was that the shift lever didn't move easily from forward gear to reverse. The gears wasn't grinding but the lever didn't move freely as it normally does. It also was making a whining noise when the clutch pedal was pushed down. Will be getting tractor cleaned up to dig deeper today but would appreciate hearing from any of you with knowledge about this Quadrange trans as most of these tractors were power shift around here.
