Subject: MS Excel question

WC Mn/Dakotas
I have some soil moisture/temp/salinity probes that have 12 sensors, 1 every 4 inches, a canopy temp sensor, and weather station air temps that log data 24/7. I would like to filter for the daily high and low temps for 3 different probe sources and the wx station. so 4 different sources, and each sensor is logging data, so I have 40 sources of temperature.

I have not really ever worked with excel for anything like this, and what I have done was many years ago. I have searched some forums, but still having difficulty getting graphs made.

Cant get a filter to make a pivot table correctly. It will often pull more than 1 temp for a day.

If I run a forumula on like the date, high temp, low temp column I can get a graph but it is taking 15-20 minutes to put one together.

I would like to compare air, canopy, and root temps at each site. I would also like to compre highs or lows between all 3 probes that represent different productions zones in this field.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
