Subject: MFWD vs 2-track Tractor for Tiling - Traction

West Central Indiana
We currently use a MT765 (36,000#, 25" tracks) for pulling a drawn tile plow and it is nearly unstoppable on dry ground, however that is not the case when in less than ideal ground conditions. When in mud it has the tendency to sit on top and spin. We're kicking around the idea of replacing it with a large frame MFWD like an 8430 or 8310R or something comparable with nothing wider than a 20.8 tire. Power is not the issue, just traction. Would a MWFD out-pull a 2-track machine in soft ground conditions?
