Subject: Happy Father's Day Jeff

Mom said to post it on Ag Talk since Dad don't have a facebook.

My dad's not on social media. Doesn't have a smart phone or email or text, but my life and family wouldn't be all it is if not for Dad! Takes us a while to see all that Dad and Mom do -- but when we finally start to understand it's pretty awesome. Happy Father's Day Dad!

Now a days there is tractors with A/C and lots of fancy technology for farming, but that wasn't always so. Not sure what year this photo is from or it if is the old barn that was on the farm that burned down, or if it was on the old farm before that that burned down. (Back when I guess fire trucks could not get to fires fast or the buildings were not as fire proof and must have burned much faster).

I found these photos, or well I think mom got them, and we looked through them many years ago, and I took photos of the photos. Some of them say they are from 1959, so maybe they all are, I am not sure. Though that doesn't seem all that long ago to have some of these machines, but maybe they were still being used then.

I liked the classic car in the pasture to check on the cattle -- looks like that was fun. We were not sure whose car that was or whose cattle, but I thought it was cool.

And the old photo of the ladies having a picnic, maybe that was how the adults back then had the picnics. Not sure. But, figured I would include it so the others who read the post can have something to read about the old days.

Now today you should tell mom to take you into town to get some Dairy Queen, since it is Fathers Day. And even if you are fine with not going, well you know mom will like to go!

Thanks for all you have done and continue to do for us all. God bless. Love your son.

PS I thought that was a cool car too with the kid. Dont know who he was, but still a cool car.
