West of Broken Bow | The old baseball picture we've discussed; I know my relative wasn't in it, but I think we have an idea why he had it. I completely forgot that he played minor league ball. Don't recall if he had hopes of being picked up by a major league team or not. He was just a farm boy. His wife is still alive and reminded me about him playing on at least one team. It's very likely that either a friend or possibly one of his brothers is in the photograph.
Never got to meet them and so not even sure what they looked like. | |
