Southwest OK | I am considering this instead of buying more bulls.
My question's are, what does it cost, which program is most cost /labor effective, and what is a reasonable expectation for conception percentage?
I have the facilities, feed, and grunt labor. Have the number of a reputable tech, who also sells semen.
My herd is Angus based and I plan to keep 0 heifers back. What would be some sires to look at? My only criteria is calving ease. I have no desire to babysit mature cows, and I like the quicker breed back also. | |
