20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | Is anyone loading up there fall Burndown on bean stubble going to corn the next year to bypass the need for a pre emerge pass in the spring ?
I'm asking in regards to the use of Conventional corn.
My fall pass typically consists of Simmazine.
Then thinking a pre of Dual/simmazine.
Post pass of Capreno/Atrazine
Could I spray Dual and 2# of simmazine in the fall.
Spring field cultivate twice
Plant
Spray later on with Capreno/Atrazine
And keep it CLEAN????
Would adding 24-D in the fall help? Sure seems to keep the stalks clean going to beans the next year
