Eastern Oregon | Having three different brands of generic glyphosate has three different labels for use on non-GMO alfalfa. I sprayed a trial spot early this spring while the alfalfa was dormant and like the results of that. I am still unclear how it would work on a stand that's not dormant.
One of the labels (if I understand correctly) says you can spray once a year at a low rate, as long as you wait 36 hours to harvest, but not longer than seven days. Has anyone actually done it this way? Does it slow the regrowth of the next cutting? Any experience shared will be appreciated. All my neighbors either have rur, or they call the co op... | |
