Mid MO | That I got up and checked. Wasn't like any check I'd been around. Called neighbor, he checked. Thought maybe it was an inverted uterus, so we called vet. Vet comes out, checks and says, nope not in labor. We were feeling the outside of the uterus and the plug was in place (I'm a tool). He said wait 36-72 hours. That was Sunday, yesterday she calved. Guess I should just chill. She was really acting odd, about Friday and Saturday, lots of up and down, occasionally mooing, straining, mucus. Guess things were getting lined up. Water breaking, that was urine.(arhh!) Was more of a burst than a stream. Money spent = lesson learned. But happy I have a live calf and willing momma.
