Subject: Weird problem with a Galaxy S5

Devils Lake, ND
Started a week ago. The power button quit. I hosed it down with canned air, but it didn't seem jammed up, and it was always protected by a Zero lemon battery case. Then it stopped working with certain chargers.

So I did a factory reset Saturday. That sorta fixed it. Power button worked half the time. But now it won't take a charge at all. Swapped to the original battery (which was still 83% full. Wow.) and everything works so far.

Is it possible a bad battery can cause these problems? It's a Zero Lemon big sucker, it's 7 months old, and it still holds a charge forever.
