Coming into the March 31 report Feeders seemed to be weakening 10 days early and did not get much traction with the extra acres from what should be cheaper feed
In 2012 I do not have data handy but it seemed Feeders turned down hard maybe3 weeks before the grains turned up in anticipation of higher feed costs and bottomed 4 weeks before grains topped out which would once again give lower feed costs.At times they do seem to lead the grains.
