CNY | Seeing in a post below that reproductive parts are sensitive to X rays reminded me of an experience last winter. I am 75 and look it even though I don't feel it. I had a minor procedure that required sedation so they made me hang around in recovery for half an hour. The patient next to me was having difficulties so had to have an X ray. We were only separated by a curtain so the X ray tech put a lead pad over my lap. When he retrieved it I told him thanks, I sure don't want to become sterile. He took a look at me and laughed. | |
