| Well mostly 220 trade (138.60) in north and 138 trade in western Nebraska, Kansas and Tx. Board right at 140. Equating to a negative basis for all. To me the board seems overbought and we could see a buck or two correction with no change in cash price as north is now over the south, which is what I though would of happened a month ago. But negative buck basis not that bad in the north and probably normal for south this time of year? Year ago we had even basis to maybe even plus 2? I should really look it up, just working off memory.
Still short apr long jun. that spread is just too wide for me, if it goes wider then I should pick up in better basis for cattle I have in May. | |
