Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines | The weekly Commitment of Traders report showed managed money futures/options
positions in the soy markets as: net short 42,906 contracts (+38,552) in
soybeans, net short 24,239 contracts (+24,480) in soymeal, and net long 39,092
contracts (-2,469) in soyoil. This was the single largest 1 week of short
covering in soybeans since the CFTC began reporting the data in 2006 and
active buying persisted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. |
