East Central Indiana | My oldest will be 5 this September. She is obsessed with animals and cows specifically. We don't run any cattle ourselves, just raise turkeys and are pretty new at that.
I probably here 5 times a day that she wants to be a cow Doctor.
My parents have a nice sized pasture that surrounds 3 sides of there house. A close family friend pastures all of his cow/bull calf pairs there all summer. Probably 15-20 pairs.
The cows are very tame and will come to the fence and eat peppermints right from your hand. Like most farm kids she spends a lot of time at grandpa and grandmas.
I think I better get a second job if vet school is in her future haha.
